Overview

For my Certificate in E Learning Instructional Design capstone, I created a 12 month leadership development program for leaders in warehouse operations. The presentation focuses on deep diving the issue, identifying goals, proposing solutions and assessment methods. The program is designed for the average manager that is often too busy on the operations floor to ever complete their e-learning trainings.

The Problem

Many managers are not building positive relationships or genuine connections with their team due to the high focus on metrics and performance. There is no formal training program for managers to work on their interpersonal communication skills, and even if there is, managers are often so engolfed in their daily work that they tend to not have time for training modules.

The Solution

In consideration of the average manager's heavy workload, the solution is to create a program that incorporates existing manager evaluation and acts as a guide for managers to improve their evaluation results (as opposed to a regular training module that can be completed in 10 minutes).

The entire program, its ideation, creation, and design and presentation were created by myself with guidance from mentors from the University of Washington.
